Overview

Giotto's bell tower is a masterpiece of the florentine Gothic architecture and is one of the most important monuments on the Piazza del Duomo in Florence. Made of white, green, and red marble, it is around 84.7 meters and is designed by Giotto in 1334. it features five distinct tiers with decorates arched windows, sculptures and geometric patterns of various color marbles. Marvel at the lovely plaques decorating the tower at ground level, sculpted by Pisano. Ascend to the top of the tower to catch the amazing views of Florence and the river Arno.
