Description

Make your way out of the city and drive towards the lush green hills of Chianti, located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Stop at a medieval castle, owned by a local winemaking family for some 900 years. Take a stroll through the castle and learn about the vine cultivation and winemaking process. Sample different varieties of wines and explore the wine cellars and olive oil press. Admire the stupendous view from the castle. Next visit the region's prestigious cheese producer and learn about cheese-making and taste the delicious locally produced cheese. Board your vehicle and enjoy a scenic off-road drive through ancient woodland and rolling hills to a traditional Tuscan restaurant. Post lunch, visit Greve-in-Chianti and explore this beautiful Tuscan town. Enjoy a coffee or get insight into the amazing culture of the city. Then head to local butchers shop and treat your taste buds to cured meat. Spend rest of afternoon in the Chianti hills at a vineyard that produces Chianti Classico wine before heading back to the hotel.
