The trip to Colombo was a pain in the a◘◘. Antilog Vacations may have so many good reviews but it was not the same kind of treatment we were meted with which others got to enjoy. The hotel rooms were below par & the night club made sleep impossible- it was too noisy. We didn’t get to spend enough time in either of the places of interest as the tour guide always seemed to be in a hurry— wonder if she always had a train to catch☺ If asked about our opinion, I would want to discourage travelling with them. Better plan your trips on your own. It will be much convenient for you that way.

Sri Lanka, a country of endless beaches, famous tea plantation & flavorful food is also packed with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I discovered several legendary temples, ancient sites, national parks, elephant Safari & cultural events with my recent visit at Sri Lanka. Colombo is the largest city in Sri Lanka & is considered the island’s commercial, financial & cultural centre. We visited the Horton Plains National Park & Lankatilaka Temple in Kandy. Also enjoyed the trekking up to the Ella Rock in Nuwara Eliya. Really nice hotels, the welcome was lovely with a delicious mixed fruit drink upon arrival. The rooms were modern & comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great & enjoy the Sri Lankan & western options. Thanks to Antilog Vacations for such charming experience. We definitely visit again for our future trips.

In my suggestion, everyone has to once must visit the place in his/her life. Sri Lanka a place of verdant tea plants, spectacular train ride, old temples, world famous beaches, elephants gathering, oldest living trees, mellow villages, rain-forested peaks for trekkers & walkers.
