Description

Embark on the thrilling trip to the Qingcheng Mountain and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System and admire the natural beauty of the Sichuan province. Your trip starts with a visit to Qingcheng Mountain which boasts of a number of the Taoist temple. Enjoy a boat ride across the Yuecheng lake and embark on a two-hour hike up the mountain where you will visit various temples including Jianfu temple from the Tang Dynasty, or the Tianshi Cave, finished during the Qing Dynasty. Then track back down or you can also opt for the cable the car ride to the bottom of the mountain (at your own expense).
Post lunch, continue your journey to the Dujiangyan Irrigation system, built in 265 BC, to provide irrigation and flood control to the region. Admire the fish mouth levee, named after its resemblance to the mouth of a fish and explore its importance in the system. Apart from its historical importance, the Dujiangyan boast beautiful vistas and historical sites. Explore the Chinese architecture and intricate designs of statues during your visit to the Two Kings Temple and the Dragon Taming Temple.
