French War Memorial is a dedicated monument of Pondicherry City, in the honor of brave soldiers who lost their lives during World War I. With the construction of this victory monument in 1927, there is annually a commemoration on 14th July, a day known as Bastille or French national Day in order to pay homage to those soldiers.
Around 3:00 pm after having your lunch, move from your hotel. Visit at French War Memorial, the French War Monument was constructed in honor of those soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. In the middle of four stark white columns - two on either side - stands alone life-size statue of a soldier leaning on a rifle. Click amazing pictures to cherish the lifetime memories. Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
