Enjoy a tour to the Lohagarh Fort, one of the most celebrated forts in Rajasthan. Built by the Jat rulers of Bharatpur, it is the strongest fort ever built, and reflects the strength and charm of Jat rulers. Enjoy a stroll around the fort and explore Kishori Mahal, Mahal Khas, Moti Mahal, Kothi Khas, Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj.
Constructed by Maharaja Suraj Mal, this fort is one of the most popular and sought after fort of Rajasthan's history. Surrounded by deep moats on both sides, this fort was the reflection of strength and grandeur of the Jat rulers. There are two main gates of this fort. The main gate is built of 8 different metals blend together and therefore known as the ‘Ashtadhatu gate’ ornamented with images of giant elephants.Kishori Mahal, Mahal Khas, Moti Mahal and Koti Khas are some other monuments in the fort. Towers such as Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj were built by Suraj Mal to commemorate his victories over the Mughals and the British. The British regime tried to siege the Lohagarh fort four times, but every time they have to face defeat.
Around 4:00 pm after having your breakfast, move from your hotel. Visit at Lohagarh Fort means the ‘The Fort of Iron’. See the two main gates of this fort with the paintings of huge elephants Ashtdhaatu and the Chowburja gate. The main gate, known as the ‘Ashtadhatu gate’, is built of 8 different metals that are fused together. Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
