Karni Mata Temple holds a unique place in Bikaner and people from all over the world come here to experience this uniqueness here. A religious centre where believe meets spirituality, here you can see thousands of rats roaming here and there in the complex without any inhibition- a sight which is not only rare but hard to find anywhere else. Pay your reverence to Karni Mata, feed rats and be the part of the prayer.
Karni Mata Temple is a rare manifestation of belief and spirituality. Home to thousands of rats, this 600-year-old temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Situated at around 30 Km from Bikaner, Karni Mata Temple dates back to the15th century. It is said that Goddess Durga inhabits the place where the temple stands today. Built of marble, you can see a pair of the silver door before the main shrine of the goddess. These solid silver doors were donated by Maharaja Gaj Singh, on his visit to this temple. In the main shrine, you can see the idol of Karni Mata holding Trishul (trident) in one of her hands and crown on her head. There are around 20,000 rats in the temple complex and are considered extremely holy as they are believed to be reincarnations of Karni Mata and her sons. Sighting of white rats (Kaba) is considered very auspicious and is the sign of prosperity and goodness.
After your tea and breakfast, leave your hotel to timely start this religious journey. Deshnoke is around 30 km away from Bikaner. The rat temple is fully crowded during Navaratri festival, if you are on normal days then we require around one hour to cover this journey. After the holy Darshan of this supernatural power, we turn back to your booked hotel.

Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
