Kandanassery, Guruvayur, Thrissur, Kerala
Chowalloor Shiva temple is a very prominent pilgrim centre of south India. This temple symbolizes unique relation between god and his devotees. Lord Shiva, the deity of Thrissur Sree Vadakunnatha temple is said to have manifested himself on an umbrella carried by one of his beloved devotees, a pious Namboothiri from Chowalloor , who used to walk all the way to Thrissur to bow his head before lord. When his devotee became too old to walk, the lord is said to have accompanied him to his native home in Chowalloor. Later, a temple was constructed at the very same place where lord appeared.
Located at a distance of 3 Km from Guruvayur Temple, the Chowalloor temple is among the 108 ‘Shivalayas’ of Shiva in Kerala that were consecrated by Parasurama. Lord Shiva with a special Shivalinga is the presiding deity of the temple. In the two tire round SreeKovil, the idol of lord Shiva is seen facing west and that of his consort SreeParvathy facing east. The sapthamathrukkal, precious black stone idols symbolizing seven mothers are also worshipped in the temple.

Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
