The St. John Church is also known as ‘St. John in the Wilderness’ is one of the most established Anglican houses of worship in the locale, devoted to John the Baptist. Constructed in 1852, in the midst of deodar backwoods, the Church is erected in neo-Gothic design style and is known for its Belgian stained glass windows that were given by Lady Elgin, wife of Lord Elgin. This Church itself is devoted to Lord Elgin, who passed on in 1863 in Dharamshala.
St. John in the Wilderness or Church of St. John is an Anglican church devoted to John the Baptist. It is situated close Dharamshala, India, just round the corner of McLeodGanj, at Forsyth Gunj. Set in the midst of deodar forest, it is constructed (1852) in neo-Gothic design and famous for its Belgian stained glass windows gave by Mary Louisa Lambton, wife of Lord Elvin.

Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
