Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your guide and given a brief tour of Vientiane, the largest city in Laos. You will visit sights such as Pha That Luang, Lao's most important and imposing monument. Legend has it that Ashokan missionaries from India erected a stupa here to enclose a breastbone of the Buddha as early as the 3rd century BC.
After breakfast you'll visit more of Vientiane's temples. Wat Si Saket has thousands of Buddha images, and Wat Ong Teu Mahawihan (Temple of the Heavy Buddha), which is one of the most important in all of Laos. It was built in the early 16th century by King Setthathirat and currently serves as a national center for Buddhist studies. At Wat Xieng Khuan (Buddha Park), you can see the collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures in a meadow by the side of the Mekong River. Finish the day with a visit to the central market.
This morning you'll fly to Luang Prabang, a city known for its historic temples and lovely mountain-encircled setting. Get ready to enjoy your wonderful morning in the spiritual land of Luang Prabang. At this place and you can observe or participate in this serene Buddhist ritual of almsgiving. You'll also watch in awe as dozens of monks emerge to stroll past lay people offering flowers. Your afternoon is free at leisure to relax or stroll around the town. On the way back to the hotel, you can stop off at the hill tribe evening market to see the vast array of locally produced goods. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, leave your hotel to observe a long line of monks collecting the alms' ceremony "the Take Bat", or the Buddhist monks' morning collection of food in Luang Prabang. You'll also participate by offering food into the bowls carried by the monks. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, today we head to enjoy biking to Wat Pa Phon Phao, a forest temple famous for the teachings of Ajahn Saisamut, and Tomb of Henry Mouhot. You'll also stop by Tad Sae Waterfall or the river to enjoy the cool water. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, you'll set out for the ride with your elephant and enjoy the impressive experience of a 3 km ride. You'll also enjoy buffet lunch served with coffee or tea and drinking water.
After breakfast, the day is free at leisure until your guide meets you for transfer by private car to the airport.

Our trip to Vientiane was extremely mind blogging with comfortable stay at Rashmi’s Plaza Hotel. It is an extremely good hotel to have a stay with family. Attentive & courteous staff had helped us a lot in planning our trip. Food was mouth watering & enough good to forget your table manners. Rooms were spick & span & things were in apple pie order. I & My husband had a pretty awesome time there.

Thanks antilog for organizing a special trip for us on a single request. I know its bit late to mention (but it never too late to do something good), our entire trip went hassle free & my kids too enjoyed their holiday in full swing & are still in holiday hangover. Vientiane & LauangPrabang has seductive impact on my kids especially visit to Ban Phanom & Ban Xanghai was new experience for them . Last but not least stay at Chang Heritage Hotel was comfortable & its staff pleasant conduct made us feel like at home.

Antilog Vacations prepared an outstanding itinerary for us over one week in Laos. We felt safe through the whole journey, were timely met by guide & driver in each city who were all friendly & knowledgeable. I & my friends visited the Pha That Luang, Vientiane Buddha Park, & Wat Si Saket Temple in Vientiane. Explore the beautiful views of the Lao jungle & enjoy the elephant ride. The hotels were fantastic, the rooms were well equipped with modern amenities & fully furnished. The staff was so helpful & pleasant. Great fitness centre & the food was delicious. It was an awesome & memorable experience.

Vientiane & LauangPrabang are magnificent place to explore during vacations. Either it is spell bounded city tour or visit to Kmu Village or Ban Phantom, the pure splendor of these two places has no comparison to anything. Of course don’t forget to visit historic Pha That Luang- gold covered large Buddhist Stupa established in the centre of Vientiane city. It is said that it was founded in third century. Antilog team you were highly responsive during the whole trip.
