In this tour, you will visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a Theravada wat in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The temple is often referred to as "Doi Suthep". In the 1300s a monk named Sumanaost found some interesting relics considered to be the part of the Buddha's shoulder bone. Then he thought that it so precious so needed to safe. So he decided to put it in silver Chinese boxes and then again inside the bronze container. After that, Chiang Mai’s King Kuna built Wat Suan Dok to save the relics. But while moving the relics in the Wat Suan Dok, a miracle happened, it divided itself into two pieces, with each piece growing back to the size of the original. This was considered a major miracle in olden day Chiang Mai.
