Overview

In this tour, you will explore the Znamensky Monastery. It was built in 1689 by Vlas Sidorov. It was basically made of wood, which leads to its decline, which expects some major repair. Its design of the Baroque architectural style, all the icons are decorated by famous Russian artists. Also see the great colorful stained glass windows describing the lives of the Apostles and the church entrance is overlooked by a white marble statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
