In this tour, you will explore the Sea Turtle Nursery. You will see seven species of sea turtles like Green, Kemp’s Ridley, Olive Ridley, Hawksbill, Leatherback, Flatback, and Loggerhead. All of these seven species of sea turtles are critically endangered. Many animals in the water like crabs, fish, sharks and whales eat sea turtles. While the breeding season, male and female sea turtles come together and match offshore. The males mount the females in the water and internally fertilize the eggs. Later, the female swims closer to shore and begins looking for a good place to nest. The female digs a rounded, flask-shaped hole with a narrowing neck. A number of eggs placed in the nest depend on the species and size of the individual.
