Overview

In this tour, you will visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa. Al-Attarine Madrasa built by the Marinid Sultan Uthman II Abu in the 14th century. Great center for learning and spirituality. Visit the central courtyard displays the traditional patterns of Merenid artisanship, with beautiful zellij (tilework), carved plaster and cedar wood. Onyx columns flank the mihrab. Slightly smaller than the Medersa Bou Inania, it has been sensitively renovated. Also, see the generous prayer hall and the similarly small student areas that look out over the courtyard.
