Overview

High Place of Sacrifice is a famous tourist destination where Nabataeans curved out their open-air altar. You've to follow a guided hike to reach on this high mountain summit which was popular due to the ritual of animals killing. The path to this altar has a dedicated place with two deities, Dushara (God of Strength) and al-Uzza (Goddess of water & fertility). From the top of this world heritage site, you'll get the beautiful overview of Wadi Rum.
