Overview

Owakudani is a wonderful land with the presence of an active volcano and amazing views of Mt. Fuji. With a short walking trail to the ropeway station, the path leads up to a volcanic zone where one can closely view the bubbling pools of natural hot water. It becomes an intersting adventure tour with a hiking option down to Lake Ashi and connecting areas.
