Overview

In this tour, you will explore the Khambhalida Caves. These caves are a footstep of Buddhism in Gujrat and date back to 5 BC. It is a group of three beautiful caves. There are ‘Chaitya’ and Stupa on the entrance of the central cave. These caves are built by Saint of Dinyan branch of Buddha tradition. Inside the cave, you will see the various sculptures and carvings of Buddhist. There are also two human size sculptures of the Bodhisatvas named Padmapani and Vajrapani.
