Overview

The striking architecture of Sundarnarayan Temple is a wonderful construction of 1756 by Gangadhar Yashwant Chandrachud. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has main idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Sarawati and Lord Vishnu along the carvings of Lord Hanuman, Narayana and Indira on the walls. With the architectural significance, the temple has major feature of small erected construction with globular domes, arches and balcony.
