'Descent Of The Ganges' is a massive rock sculpture which was also known as Arjuna's Penance. This 96 feet monolith was carved around in the mid of 7th century. Behind this massive structure, there were two instances. One is related to the famous Pandava 'Arjuna' who performed his rigorous penance and get Shiva's blessings. And the other is related to the incident of King Bhagiratha, who brings the River Ganga down from heaven to earth.
'Descent of The Ganges' is a symbolic significance of Pallavan architecture. The liveliness of these sculptures provides the proof among their outstanding artwork. The carved figures on rock depict the spectacular details of descending Ganga. This amazing construction also has the carving of Gods, celestial creatures, saints, birds and animals. There is also an artificial waterfall and four-armed idol of Lord Shiva.

Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
