Thiruvalluvar Statue is an impressive way to get an introduction about famous Tamil author, poet and saint Thiruvalluvar. This 133 ft (95 ft statues + 38 ft pedestals) high stone sculpture is located on a small island rock. This 7000-ton statue was sculpted by Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati, who was renowned for his famous creation 'Iraivan Temple'.
The standing statue of famous poet and saint Thiruvalluvar symbolizes the features of wealth and pleasure. Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati who sculpted this statue, craft a slight bend around a waist to represent a dancing pose just like the famous Nataraja. This hill top stone sculpture was opened to the public on Jan 1, 2000, after its foundation stone in 1979 by PM Morarji Desai.
Around 9:00 am after having your morning breakfast, move from your hotel. After your visit at Thiruvalluvar Statue has admirable culture and adjacent history. The statue has stairs inside it, from where the view of the sea and the mainland can be enjoyed. Here you get an opportunity to click amazing pictures to cherish the lifetime memories. Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
