Overview

In this tour, you will explore the Dhamek Stupa. It is the striking and massive structure at Sarnath. It was constructed partly of stone and partly of brick. Its height is 43.6 meters and diameter 28 meters at the base. It is assumed that the Lord Buddha gave his first lecture at the Dhamekha Stupa. The borders of the Dhamekh Stupa skillfully carved with awe-inspiring designs and figures most of them provides a look of humans and birds within their different postures.
