Dachigam is a nation’s pearl located in the gorgeous backdrop of Kashmir. Spread more than 140 sq. km., Dachigam is divided into the Upper and Lower Dachigam divisions, both of which have different stories of their promising times. The meaning of Dachigam National Park name is basically relevant to 'ten villages', which could be in memory of the those villages that were migrated to set the end goal to make this National Park.
