Overview

Gadkalika is a single-celled temple of Goddess Kalika. According to legends, great poet Kalidas obtained his genius skills from his huge devotion to this divine temple. Here red headed Goddess Kalika is beautifully ornamented with a silver crown and served by a statue of golden lion, placed at the entrance of sanctum. Similarly, the exterior of the temple is beautifully decorated with horizontal red and white colored painted stripes.
